Martin Damsell – Lead Singer, Guitarist
Born in Bristol, England, Marty came to Toronto and attended St. Michaels Choir School. By the time he was eight, he was performing at Massey Hall. During the 70’s & 80’s.
Marty created show bands, New Direction and Night fever, that toured Canada and the U.S over a 14 year period. During that time he still found time to sing on many jingles at various recording studios, and perform on the “Yes Virginia” telethon and others.
Five successful seasons at Ontario Place led to an 8 month contract on a small island in the Southern Grenadines.
Coming back to Canada he built his own recording studio, wrote jingles and produced material for Images in Vogue, Mark James Fortin and others.
In 1997 Marty recorded a CD produced by J.K Gulley which yielded two singles – one of them, “Tears Running Down My Face” getting to #15 on the top 100 Country Chart, which earned him the honour of singing the Canadian and American national anthems at Toronto’s Sky Dome before 25,000 Blue Jay fans.
Martin was the lead vocalist in Little Caesar & The Consuls in 2011.

Martin created, and performs in a very successful James Taylor tribute show called, Fire and Rain. He is also the owner of, and performs with the Southern Nights (duo, trio or single) entertainment package.

Marty is a vocal teacher at the Bradford Academy of Music
