What would summer be without spending a day at the Beach?

Little Caesar and the Consuls were thrilled to be invited to perform in Wasaga Beach for the “Back to the Beach 2021 Concert Series” on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 sponsored by Stonebridge Town Centre.
It was a field of dreams with the huge crowd that attended. Free admission; bring your own lawn chairs, a classic car show and good weather all made for a perfect afternoon of live music.

The afternoon kicked off with the opening band Virgil Scott and The Freakin’ Band (the house band from the famous Beacon Hotel in Wasaga). They performed some great tunes including the classic song Groovin’ by the Young Rascals. Well done Virgil and friends.
A special thank you to our sponsors, Gabor Szepesi and all the volunteers who helped put on this event and a huge thank you to Roger and Tom of CHS Productions from Collingwood, Ontario for providing the sound.

And last but not least, thank you to Norm Sherratt, one of the original founding members of Little Caesar and the Consuls, since 1956 for joining us on stage to sing Richie Knight and the Mid-Knights 1963 Canadian hit Oh Charlena, in memory of our dear friend the late George Semkiw, who was the original guitar player.
It was a truly amazing day at the beach.
Thank you for supporting live music!

50 minutes of “Check..Check” is a bit much for the audience! It didn’t really improve your sound. Lots of people just got up & went home. The original group could be up & running in less than 10 minutes,
Amazing show by Little Caesar and the Consuls at Wasaga Beach on August 28. Music was great as always as was the sound. Great to have Norm Sheratt up on stage if only for one song. People were up dancing from the very first song and this continued throughout their performance. Great work Martin, Walter, James, Steven and Gordon. Really looking forward to your next show- the sooner the better. Along with being a great bunch of guys – your music is the best! Always has been and always will be!
